Carlo (founder) spends 9 months helping a $14M apparel wholesaler escape NetSuite. Realizes the SMB ERP gap is structural.
We're building the ERP we wish we had.
Every founder we know running a $5M–$50M business is stuck between two bad ERP choices. QuickBooks + 12 spreadsheets + an ops manager who carries the system in their head. Or a NetSuite quote that takes 6 weeks, costs more than the operations team it serves, and requires an integrator to add a custom field. MetalogixERP exists because the gap between those two should not be “hire an integrator.”
Four principles, none of them negotiable.
Bundle, don’t unbundle.
Per-module pricing is the SMB tax. We charge for users, not for which corner of your business you let us see. All 56 modules — inventory, finance, CRM, property, projects, recruit, asset management — are included from Starter.
AI in the workflows, not on top of them.
The market is full of “AI chatbots” bolted onto legacy ERPs. Ours forecasts demand, reprices across channels, extracts data from supplier PDFs, and flags anomalies in your day dashboard — across eight model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, self-hosted Ollama, plus Claude/Codex/Gemini CLI auth) and an MCP server that lets agents reach every record under the same permissions your team has. All in the modules you actually open.
Isolation enforced at the data layer, not “we check it in code.”
Strict per-tenant isolation is enforced at the deepest layer of your data, not as an afterthought. A bug in our application code cannot leak data across customers. We publish the architecture because we mean it.
Fast, even when honest is faster than fast.
30 minutes from request to a demo tenant with your CSVs in it. 5 days from kickoff to a live tenant for spreadsheet-only teams. Some ERPs make you wait 6 months to see how slow they will be.
How we got here.

First commit on what would become MetalogixERP. Inventory module first. Then receipts. Then “wait, all of this should live in one secure workspace.”
- 2024 · Q4
Module-architecture rewrite: every domain becomes self-describing. Adding a module requires zero changes to core. The bundled-platform promise becomes possible.
- 2025 · Q3
AI capabilities land: demand forecast, repricing, document understanding, anomaly detection. Not chatbot-on-top — woven into the modules.

The platform widens past inventory: property and tenant portal, projects and costing, recruiting, technology-asset management. One secure workspace, one ledger, one audit trail across all of it.

Early SMB customers onboarding. 56 modules. Eight AI providers — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, and self-hosted Ollama, plus Claude/Codex/Gemini CLI auth — and an MCP server so agents work the same records under the same strict per-tenant isolation. Three tiers. SOC 2 audit in progress. This website.
Four words that show up in every PR review.
Craft
Linear-grade polish on every surface, not just the homepage. If a screen looks dashed-off, it gets sent back.
Density
Information per square inch matters. Whitespace is a tool, not a religion. Ops teams scan, they don’t browse.
Honesty
We publish what we do — how sign-in works, how your data stays isolated, the AI prompts, the pricing. No “starting from $X*” with an asterisk.
Speed
Days, not weeks. Weeks, not quarters. We ship the same week the customer asks.
Small team. Big surface area.
